Backcountry Custom Firepits can be used in a variety of ways, but come as a standard fire pit in a bowl or globe depending on the order.  Backcountry Custom Firepits can be used as a firepit, art in your flower garden and a main centerpiece that makes a statement in your yard.

Backcountry Custom Fire Pits are made of ¼” thick steel and it is extremely durable.

Backcountry Custom Fire Pits are not rust-free. Over time, they will develop a patina or rust contrast – which is a rich color that adds defined beauty. I recommend purchasing a cover for your fire pit, and once a year clean it to maintain. At the beginning of summer, for year-round enjoyment, I clean mine with the 3M Scotch-Brite pads that can be purchased at your local grocery store or hardware locations. Another recommendation for wood burning fire pits, is to purchase a Fire Pit Tool Set and Log Holder. They will allow you to keep it clean for the next use. The Ash Bucket comes complimentary, along with an order for these two accessories. The base is made of steel and requires maintenance as well.

The ¼” steel used to make the fire pits will patina or (rust) over time – giving it a richer look in color. A favorite of most customers is the patina look. Especially living in Colorado, with the backcountry feel at your doorstep, the patina enhances natural surroundings.

Backcountry Custom Fire Pits offer delivery options. I can personally deliver anywhere in the State of Colorado. If the location is out of state, your fire pit may be shipped to you at an additional fee. Please contact me for delivery options or see costs associated on my website

Yes, I communicate directly with you to personalize your vision for a custom fire pit. You might have several things that are important in your life that you would like relayed in your custom design. Initially, a drawing is done for your approval via email. Once agreed upon, we proceed to steps in creating the finished product.

Backcountry Custom Fire Pits weigh between 100 to 150lbs for the Bowl option and 150 to 225lbs for the Globe option. Depending on the design of steel to be cut to create your piece, final results may vary. Bowl Fire Pits measure 37” x 18.75”. Please factor in 12” for the base that the bowl sits on, thus making it come to 42” in height. Globe Fire Pits measure 37” x 37”. Again, factor in 12” for the base that the bowl sits on, thus making it come to 42” in height.
